What to Expect

Working together to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ

Matthew 28: 18-20

Welcome to St. Luke’s Church

Called by the truth of the Gospel,

Enlightened by the Holy Spirit,

Sent out to serve.

St. Luke’s was organized as a Swedish Lutheran congregation on May 17, 1869. Currently, St. Luke’s doors are open to all heritages. St. Luke’s exists as an LCMC Congregation to share the gospel in accordance with the teaching of the Holy Scriptures and Lutheran Confessions.

We are a community of believers biblically grounded in our worship and teaching. We are a loving, supportive congregation reaching out to others (you) with the love of Christ. Our mission is to bear witness to the good news that sinners are put right with God by faith alone in Jesus Christ. Looking to the cross of Christ, we resist any corruption of the inherent Word of God.

God’s will for us is LIFE, which He has made possible through Jesus Christ who died on the cross to pay for our sin. God wants a relationship with you and to empower you to have an abundant life in Jesus’ name. Through repentance of sin and trust in Christ alone and He will give you eternal life. DO IT NOW, before you step into eternity.
