Stephen Ministry

By now, you've read quite a bit about Stephen Ministry at St. Luke's. You know that we have trained Stephen Ministers to listen and walk with you or a friend or your family member through whatever you find difficult at this time. You know that you can contact Pastor Dave or Pastor Sue or Kathy Hollenbeck if you are concerned about someone you know or if you have a concern yourself that you would like help with. Stephen Ministers are already at work in our midst walking alongside their care receivers, being the hands and feet of Christ. They are waiting for you to ask for their help, their prayers and their love and concern! Don't forget that confidentiality is the hallmark of their service in Christ, so don't worry that anyone else will know about your relationship with your Stephen Minister! Please, take a moment to pray for yourself or a friend, and then make a difference by asking for a Stephen Minister! Your relationship will last as long as you need it, you have nothing to lose and so much to gain! Talk to Pastor Dave, Pastor Sue, or Kathy Hollenbeck - kathy.j.hollenbeck@gmail.com or 612-201-3535.

Stephen Ministry Training

Even though it's still autumn, spring will be here sooner than you think! If you’re interested in Stephen Ministry training, we are considering having another class through the summer (but no weekends). We’re thinking of starting in mid-May and finishing mid-to-late September, having one class per week. Please prayerfully consider becoming a Stephen Minister. The rewards are great! If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Hollenbeck, kathy.j.hollenbeck@gmail.com or 612-201-3535. Alternatively, if you have a 'teaching gene' in you, you could also be a Stephen Leader like Kathy. And you don't have to be a Stephen Minister to be a Stephen Leader. There is a need for both! Please pray about these opportunities to bless someone in need!
